About us
We're friends, specialty coffee lovers, and the founders of Ascentia Cafe.
This project was born from pure passion and countless hours at coffee events, exploring local cafés and discovering new flavor profiles. After thousands of cups, deep discussions about origin, varieties and roast curves and after experiencing the richness of the coffee community, we wanted to build something of our own.
For us, it wasn't just about starting a roasting business. It was about building a life centered around what we genuinely love and having each bag reflect that.
From the start, we’ve been intentional about every detail from bean to cup. Every coffee was hand selected from multiple specialty Colombian varieties that we are proud to share with the coffee community.
We love nerding out and refining each roast profile to find that "sweet spot" where the bean's true character shines. The result is a cup that balances richness, aroma, sweetness and acidity while keeping complexity, making every sip memorable.
Our mobile coffee cart is our bridge to you. Every drink is crafted with intention and designed not just to be enjoyed, but to create a moment.

This limited edition Wush Wush has been given an SCA score of 89 out of 100, placing it in “exceptional” territory, and acquired from a small lot grown in Finca Planadas by Carlos Amaya.
The Wush Wush variety is one of the most exotic and expressive coffees grown in Colombia, offering a vibrant and elegant cup profile.
Its fragrance bursts with tropical notes of pineapple and mango, while the aroma reveals a complex character with ripe fruits, delicate jasmine, and a subtle hint of cinnamon. On the palate, it is smooth and well balanced, featuring soft chocolate notes complemented by a gentle touch of pineapple.
Bright, citrus like acidity with hints of watermelon and melon brings freshness and clarity. A medium body with a silky, creamy texture leads to a long, pleasant finish marked by fresh fruit and chocolate notes.

This washed Gesha from Inmaculada Coffee Farms has been given an SCA score of 87.3 out of 100, and offers a cup defined by clarity, elegance, and floral complexity. The fragrance opens with delicate notes of jasmine and lemongrass, accompanied by a refined green tea character.
In the cup, bright citrus tones of orange and lemon shine alongside wild blackberries, while a gentle brown sugar sweetness adds warmth and balance. Its medium body is smooth and refined, supported by a lively yet harmonious acidity that enhances its vibrant, citrus forward profile.
The result is a clean, well-structured coffee with beautiful uniformity and a lingering finish marked by floral and fresh citrus notes , a true expression of Gesha’s sophistication.
